Jávea Computer Club has been active since the early days of home computing. Today in 2026 our main focus is helping our members keep pace with the rapid changes in technology e.g.

  • How to manage our electronic identities
  • ChatGPT and AI are the next industrial revolution

Cashless – Monday 22 June

The Bridge Club have decided to go cashless from Monday 22 June to save a lot of work and incurring a bank charge to pay cash into the bank. From Monday we will have to purchase tokens to pay for drinks in the Club – they are 50c, 1€ and 2€ values and can be bought in multiples of 5€ and upwards paying by card on their machine. Wikipedia is more than just a free encyclopaedia

Wikipedia is hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation, a non-profit organisation that also hosts a range of other projects including books, media, data and even a travel guide. It is created and maintained by an online community of volunteers, which means that any of us can contribute and (importantly) correct mistakes we may find.
