Chris introduces Reddit, how it works and how to use and enjoy it. Reddit calls itself “The Front Page of the Internet”. It is basically a huge group of forums in which registered users can share information and discuss almost anything you can imagine: news, films, literature, knitting, model trains, football, painting, music, science, cooking, wood-working….. The list goes on.
There are more than 130,000 active communities. As the “TomsGuide” Technology website remarks: ‘Its users seem to have the ability to detect trends and news before anyone else, and then comment on them, often with extraordinary wit or illuminating knowhow.’
