The news today is full of scare stories about this new artificially intelligent creation: “Chat GPT: Banned in schools and colleges, why Elon Musk terms it the “most dangerous” AI to date; …“ Microsoft Founder Bill Gates Says Chat GPT Will Change the World“. If it’s that scary to Elon Musk and that important to Bill Gates, then I guess JCC members should know something about it. This Thursday, February 15th we will investigate this app and with luck play around with it to see what it can do (sometimes it’s too busy to log on to!). We will find out how Chat GPT and similar apps can be used and discuss the implications of this for us and society at large in the future.
