We are sorry to report that long term member Mike Easter has passed away in the UK.
Mike was a well known and respected member who served for many years on the Committee. He was Membership Secretary for several years as well as lively contributor to Committee work in general. He is fondly remembered by fellow committee members for always being the one to find the mistake in the minutes of the previous meeting!
We received the following words from his wife Marion and two sons Jon and Graham.
“The funeral service will be held at Emstrey Crematorium, London Road, Shrewsbury, Shropshire, SY2 6PS on Friday 26th May at 915am.
We would like to ask that any donations be made to Cancer Research UK in his name – Please contact Jon for further details”.
