Is it time to change your Internet Search application (engine)?

When you browse the web, which search engine you use is your choice. In the past, Google Search has been the most popular choice. But Google has recently got into a lot of expensive hot water with the EU for blocking competition in Google Chrome’s web search results.

Microsoft Bing has improved recently but it, and other search engines will increasingly use so-called AI GPT. But the Bing GPT search Chatbot has been saying some strange things.

Is it time to look at some of the lesser-known Search applications? (there are at least 20 of them!) How good is “Duckduck Go” – It’s supposed to guard your privacy. How about “Ecosia” , “Yahoo” “Quant” and “You” which we looked at last week,- how do they compare?

This Thursday, June 22nd we will challenge some search “engines” with pre-prepared questions and see how they shape up!
