My mobile phone has been snatched! – what can I do?

Last week, a JCC member described how a relative on holiday in Jávea had recently had his mobile phone snatched from his hand in what seemed to be an elaborate scam. He later discovered that several thousand pounds had been stolen from his bank account. On the same day, the Daily Mail ran an article highlighting how gangs are switching from drug running to phone snatching.
