“It’s nothing more than AI slop!” – AI (Artificial Intelligence) terms for the layperson

AI is everywhere, and new terms are being coined daily. What is “Generative AI”? How about an “LLM” or an “AI Avatar”? Could you recognise “AI Workslop” if you saw it? What about a “Stochastic parrot”?
This week, we’ll try to decipher some of the terms describing aspects of AI, and look at the associated slang creeping into our dictionaries.
