Wikipedia is hosted by the Wikimedia Foundation, a non-profit organisation that also hosts a range of other projects including books, media, data and even a travel guide. It is created and maintained by an online community of volunteers, which means that any of us can contribute and (importantly) correct mistakes we may find. This Thursday, 20 August at 11.00 am we will explore the many things Wikipedia has to offer, and see how articles can be edited.
