Last week we looked at what Blogs are, their features and how they can be used to share your interests with family, friends…even the world! The easiest Blog for beginners seems to be Blogger (Blogspot) from Google which is FREE, all you need to have is a Gmail account. This Thursday September 22nd at 11.00am, Chris will take the first steps to create a Blogger Blog (she has some genealogy information which was on website which has disappeared. It needs a new home). We’ll create the Blog step by step (no rehearsal): signing in, giving it a name and … do whatever happens next (the audience is welcome to give advice, heckle or sympathise whatever their mood). Then we’ll find a suitable third party template to give it an attractive and useful layout. We’ll also find out how you can control who sees and who can contribute to the blog …and (it being a Thursday) many things are likely to go wrong along the way.
