We have had internet from Blu / Populoos for many years. In our previous premises we had to put in a lot of work to make a reliable “internet cafe” at the club. Since we moved to our current premises it has been virtually impossible to provide a reliable WiFi on Mondays when we have the most members present. Even with two fibre optic connections the internet would grind to a halt once more that a handful of members arrived and some devices, notably Apples were particularly badly affected.
With the assistance of member Jens Thate we have now changed to Swiss Cable as a provider and the immediate result has been a demonstrable and dramatic improvement in the quality of the WiFi at the club, which hopefully will continue.
