As many of you will now be aware, the lovely “Mac” MacDonald sadly passed away peacefully on Saturday 13th July in Denia hospital. Our love and thoughts are with Shirley and family.
At Mac and Shirley´s request there will not be a funeral service, but close friends were able to say their goodbyes at the chapel of rest at Denia crematorium on Friday 19th July. Please note, there will not be a service.
Following this there will be a small private celebration of Mac´s life for close invited friends of Shirley and Mac.
If anyone would like to make a donation in Mac´s memory Shirley has chosen the Alzheimer and Dementia day centre and support group in Teulada. Donations can be made at the celebration for those invited or handed to any U3A committee member at coffee mornings or at the GA in September.
Rest in peace dear Mac. We will always miss your wonderful cheeky smile and wit.
